Our families who don’t already own their land, often ask us, “What do we do first? Select our home plan or find the land?” The answer is, it depends. Your home and homesite go hand-in-hand, but it’s important to remember that land in Colorado Springs is a limited resource so we recommend that you start with the land and then we can design your home to meet you site conditions.

Jayden Homes is fortunate to own land in some of the finest custom home communities in the area including Stage Station in Colorado Springs with city water and utilities, Winsome in El Paso County, and Remuda Ranch for your Castle Rock custom home. In most cases, the building site has already been determined on these homesites to maximize views and terrain. If soils and septic testing are required, Jayden Homes will assist you in the coordination of these tests once we determine the exact location of your new home. As an added benefit, a member of our construction team will be present at the time of soils and septic testing.

BUILD ON YOUR HOMESITE

If you already own your land in El Paso, Elbert or Douglas County, congratulations! From home placement to unique soils conditions, finding the “right land” (and building) in the Pikes Peak Region requires expertise and homework. If you have found what you think is the perfect homesite, we will be happy to make a complimentary site visit to provide you with our professional opinion and recommendations prior to your purchase. If you are still looking for a homesite, our land specialist will be happy to assist you in finding the ideal place to call home.

Whether you own your land or are looking for assistance in purchasing your land, Jayden Homes, a Colorado Springs Design & Build home builder, will assist you in the home placement to maximize views and terrain. Additionally, we’ll assist you in securing any necessary soils, septic, and well testing. As an added benefit, a member of our construction team will be on site during any necessary site tests and provide you with a complimentary review of results. Most Home Owners Associations have specific building requirements and design review guidelines. Our design team will review these guidelines to ensure your home is designed and constructed to meet these requirements. All necessary submittals and permits will also be professionally managed by Jayden Homes.
